Assistant or Associate Preservation Specialist (National)

NEDCC’s Preservation Services Department is expanding and we’re seeking early- to mid-career professionals to serve as Preservation Specialists in support of nationwide training, consulting, and outreach programs. The minimum salary for this position is $49,000 for Assistant Preservation Specialist and $55,000 for Associate. Please note that this is a minimum salary, not a range. NEDCC offers competitive salaries commensurate with education, experience, and skill, as well as an excellent retirement/benefits package.

Emergency Preparedness Consultant (California)
NEDCC is seeking a California-based Emergency Preparedness Consultant for the “Ready—or Not”: Cultural Heritage Disaster Preparedness Project, a minimum three-year project (2022-2025) funded by the State of California that conducts emergency preparedness assessments of local archives, historical societies, libraries, museums and tribal nations to help those entities create written disaster preparedness plans to protect their collections and ensure future public access. The annual salary for this position is $64,480.
