Join CAM virtually for the 4th Annual Green Museums Seminar to discuss the museum’s role in environmental justice, learn about creativity in sustainability, and celebrate the winners of the Secretary's Award for Excellence in Sustainability on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
The program will include a panel discussion, moderated by Laura Rodriguez of Justice Outside, about how museums are supporting environmental justice with case studies from the California Indian Museum, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and California Academy of Sciences. A subsequent panel will feature projects at the Wildling Museum of Art and Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, the winners of the 2021 Secretary’s Award.
A full program schedule will be announced prior to the event. Registrants will receive the connection instructions via email 24 hours in advance of the event. The deadline to register is Tuesday, September 28th at 11:59PM PDT.
