The 2019 CAM conference will take place at the Parc 55 hotel in downtown San Francisco. The hotel is adjacent to the Powell St. BART station and within walking distance to 11 museums. Many conference activities will take place at the hotel’s 4th floor meeting space. There are also abundant public transit options to points throughout the SF Bay Area via MUNI and BART near the hotel.
We have reserved a room block at the Parc 55 for the group rate of $219/night (single or double occupancy) for Thursday and Friday and Saturday evening. Rooms outside of Thursday and Friday may be at a higher rate. To secure a reservation, you must provide your credit card information and the first night’s deposit (refundable up to 72 hours before your reservation). The room block is available through January 16, 2019 or until the block is sold out, so be sure to make your reservation early if plan to stay at the conference hotel. If you have any questions or have problems making your hotel reservation, please contact CAM staff for assistance.
ADDITIONAL ROOM BLOCK
In addition to the Parc 55, a block of room has been reserved for CAM attendees at the Marines Memorial Club & Hotel located nearby the conference headquarters at a room rate of $269/night which includes wifi, full cooked breakfast and complimentary two hour happy hour daily. Additionally, the hotel offers a business center and entrance to the Active Sports Club Union Square which offers an indoor lap pool and state of the art fitness equipment.

The easiest ways to get the Parc 55 are via public transportation, taxi, or rideshare services like Lyft or Uber. If you are flying, both Oakland and San Francisco International Airports have connections to BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). You can take BART directly to the hotel (Powell St. station).
