There are a myriad of pre-conference activities scheduled for Wednesday, March 8. These are excellent opportunities to kick off your conference experience for an added cost (refer to costs listed for each itinerary item). You may add tickets for these events to your new or existing registration. Tickets may be available to purchase onsite, pending availability. Space is limited.

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM CAMaraderie Lunch

Though we still rely on many digital collaboration platforms, connecting with peers in-person is an essential part of professional development and networking. There is something magical about breaking bread with a colleague and forming a personal connection. Reboot your relationships with fellow museum workers over a buffet lunch. Catch up with an old friend, or make a new one!
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Host Committee Welcome Reception
Location: Waterfront Restaurant & Patio
Cost: Free (registration required)
Relax and mingle with colleagues before the conference switches into high gear on Thursday morning with panels, discussions and case studies. This reception will take place onsite at the conference hotel in a flexible indoor-outdoor space. Afterwards, depart for dinner on your own at one of Oakland’s amazing restaurants.
