California Academy of Sciences ‒ School Programs
The California Academy of Sciences' school programs create free opportunities for elementary schools in California to engage with the natural world through dynamic online programs. Equity strategies in the program offer individualized options for classes from San Francisco, including facilitation by museum educators who are bilingual and versed in Special Education practices.
National Steinbeck Center ‒ Steinbeck Young Authors' Program
The National Steinbeck Center’s dynamic and Award-winning Steinbeck Young Authors Program, which fosters a community-centric approach to reading and writing, has served school-aged youth for over eighteen years. Through comprehensive and engaging curriculums developed for teachers focused on John Steinbeck’s works, students become young published authors.
