Overview:
The Volunteer Manager coordinates the Museum’s volunteer corps, ensuring that the Museum has the resources necessary to deliver on its mission of education. He or she oversees all administrative, managerial, and performance-based aspects of the volunteer program while ensuring excellent customer service for all guests.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years’ experience managing a volunteer program and supervising volunteers
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle, with current California license and insurance, for occasional off-site events
  • Must be available to work Monday – Friday between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and have flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Position:
Full time. Reports to Education Director. Typical work hours Mon.-Fri. 8:30 am- 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. Benefits include vacation, employer-subsidized health plan, dental insurance, and 401(k) savings plan with matching. Pay commensurate with experience.
