Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 

The Senior Experience Manager will lead teams in the design, construction, and management of educational, play-based experiences for children and families. Reports to the CEO, has 2 direct reports.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Pasadena. Kidspace is a hybrid workplace, some weekends/evenings required.

Digital portfolio of completed experience design projects required for consideration.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develops experience narratives that engage children and setup play modalities. Designs experiences that are child-first, audience-driven, and center accessibility/inclusion. Evaluates experiences, proposes improvements.
• Develop guest experiences that engage children intellectually, physically, emotionally.
•  Writes creative project documents that inspire teams, partners, and funders.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years in experience/exhibition design field
• Proven success as a project manager
• Bachelor’s degree in related area/equivalent field desired

Preferred:

• Grant writing experience
• Experience with early learners, developing educational content
• Working Spanish fluency
