The Exploratorium is a dynamic, multi-faceted organization which produces interactive exhibits, public programming, digital media, and more for our museum visitors, educators nationwide, and our partners around the world. The Project Manager plays a critical function in supporting the Exploratorium’s diverse portfolio of arts and temporary exhibitions work, balancing a high-level view of project goals along with the details of execution while acting as a central resource for team members, and integrating timeline, budget, and scope. The position is responsible for the coordination and collaborative execution of multiple temporary exhibitions, arts initiatives, and miscellaneous exhibitions/exhibits. This position will interact with external exhibition organizers and contractors, artists, multiple program and support departments, and internal project team members (including exhibit and program developers, writers, web and graphic designers, evaluators, marketing, development, and operations). The Project Manager reports to the Project Director, Temporary Exhibitions.

The starting range for this role is $38.88 to $41.17 per hour DOE.
