Rights & Reproductions Specialist

Reporting to the Director, Collections Management, the Rights and Reproductions Specialist secures permissions for images and other digital content, resolves issues surrounding copyright and intellectual property, and retains appropriate documentation primarily pertaining to the Museum’s collections. This position also manages permissions extending to related Museum exhibitions, publications and programs. The Rights and Reproduction Specialist will work with the Museum’s licensing partner on licensing museum-generated materials to third parties for all media including images, text, film and other audiovisual work. This position works closely with Curatorial, Publications, Education, Communications and Marketing.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in Museum Studies, Art History or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in intellectual property management, preferably within an art museum or image archive
