Park Aide, Historical Monument (Seasonal)

$15.68 - $17.95 per Hour

The reporting location for this position is the California State Capitol Museum at 1315 10th Street, Office B-22 in Sacramento, CA 95814. Under the supervision of the Museum Curator I, the Park Aide will work on a temporary or seasonal basis, up to but no more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. This position will be scheduled between 2-5 days a week, which will include weekends and holidays. The Park Aide may assist the Collections Manager and Museum Technicians to aid and support the maintaining and preserving of historical rooms and objects located at the California State Capitol Museum.  Research and apply provided program of preservation of historic or artistic objects. Additionally, the Park Aide will monitor and report damage, theft, or other issues within exhibit spaces. The Park Aide will also be a member of the exhibit team that will assist in developing, designing, and scheduling exhibits.
