Outreach and Education Manager

The Outreach and Education Manager is responsible for planning and implementing all general public, family and school programming for HAHS and its historic properties. Additional responsibilities include outreach to the community and volunteer management. This position requires a unique blend of program design and managerial skills with creative and innovative ideas to build a flexible array of public offerings. The Manager’s main goal will be as the visitor advocate on staff who ensures public access to HAHS’ resources and sites. Interested parties should have a strong commitment to working with diverse, socio-economic and multicultural urban communities as well as an ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with all constituencies and ages. Bilingual ability is a plus.
