Relevant Experience Or Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Museum or General Educational programs for children, adults and families. Plan and implement educational programs.
- Interact effectively with all age levels and cultural backgrounds- especially Native CA groups.
- Effective communication skills.
- Current knowledge of professional museum standards and practices.

Education Level: Master’s Degree in Education or Museum Studies preferred; or Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 5 years of progressively responsible Museum Education or in the public education field with experience in multicultural settings.
General Summary: Under the supervision of the Director, the Museum Educator develops and implements educational programming for the Tribe and the public, including educational institutions and community organizations. The Museum Educator plans, organizes, and conducts public programming including field trips, lectures, and other educational programs.
