Museum Director is a full-time position responsible for the day to day operations of the Pioneers’ Museum of the Imperial County Historical Society. The Museum Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and collaborates closely with the President of the Board to fulfill the Society’s Mission and Strategic Plan. The salary package has an option which includes on-site housing. If selected, together with the salary, ranges between $50,000 and $75,000 depending on applicant’s qualifications. The Museum Director’s duties include providing leadership and direction for the development and implementation of plans, projects and growth of the Museum, overseeing all elements of administration, preparing annual budgets, reports, and other documents necessary to the function of the museum, developing fund raising programs and opportunities, and supporting grant applications.
