The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History is currently hiring for our award-winning education team. Located on the central coast in Pacific Grove, California, the Museum first opened its doors in 1883 and is one of the oldest natural history museums in the United States. Under the leadership of a new Executive Director with a forward-thinking Strategic Plan, we are hiring a Public Programs Coordinator to oversee on-site programming for Museum visitors, including hands-on activities in the Nature Exchange, PG First Fridays, Science Saturdays, and special programming targeting families, adult learners, or preschoolers. Depending on experience, they would help coordinate the curriculum, budget, scheduling, and evaluation of the programs and could assist with building community partnerships. A successful candidate will be bi-lingual in English and Spanish, have 2-3 years classroom experience, and life experience in natural science.

This is a full-time (40 hours), non-exempt, benefits eligible position. Compensation is $19.05-22.66/hr.
