Facilities Maintenance Lead

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of work in general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment of National Museum site. Require some early mornings or evenings and occasional weekend hours based upon vendor/contractor scheduling. Minimum 3 years of lead maintenance experience.  Familiarity with minor repair and maintenance in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, concrete, walls and coverings, and phone system. Provide administrative support and acts as back up of staffing coverage when manager is unavailable. Prior non-profit/museum experience and working with volunteers is desired.  Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work with a team as well as individually. Knowledge of JA history and culture beneficial. Familiarity with Gmail, MS Office and two-way radio use. Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus. Background check required.
