The Capital Campaign Director plays a critical role in advancing MOXI’s mission as a key member of the senior leadership team and serves as the project manager and lead strategist for MOXI’s new capital campaign. Working closely with the CEO, the campaign director is responsible for the overall planning, administration, and day-to-day operations of the campaign to support the museum in reaching its goal. The primary functions of this role include establishing solicitation priorities, managing prospect lists, developing and executing targeted cultivation plans and solicitation strategies for a range of donors, preparing and providing support for solicitation, and planning and managing cultivation and appreciation events. This campaign is supported by external consultants, a volunteer campaign committee, and an existing development team. As such the role requires an understanding of fundraising strategy, excellent customer service, ability to maintain confidentiality, attention to detail, critical thinking, sound judgement, and above all, humor.

Pay: $90-100,000 annual salary. Expected duration of project is 2 years.
