Exhibitions and Facilities Manager

The Exhibitions and Facilities Manager develops and manages all logistical aspects of SVMA exhibitions, including the floor plan, art loans, shipping and installation, as well as the operations and maintenance of the Museum’s physical facility. The manager is responsible for exhibition design, setting exhibition and installation timelines and budgets, coordinating shipments, negotiating and overseeing all contractual labor and loan agreements, and maintaining exhibition archives. On the facilities side, the Manager is responsible for maintaining a functional, safe, and secure building for visitors, staff and volunteers, and artwork, and ensures the building and procedures are in compliance with all applicable fire and safety codes.
