Exhibition Designer

Reporting to the Managing Director, Museum Experience, the Exhibition Designer will lead design efforts to produce engaging, original, and accessible exhibitions that will shape the visitor experience of a new museum. This position is responsible for all phases of the exhibition design process including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction drawings for both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The Exhibition Designer works in close collaboration with numerous colleagues across the museum (i.e. Exhibition Management, Interpretive Media, Curatorial, Collections Management, Education, Marketing), and external partners as needed, in order to realize visually rich, innovative, and interactive experiences that support the Museum’s brand and mission.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture, design, art, theater or in a related field;
  • At least five (5) years of museum exhibition experience, spanning all aspects of the design process from concept to installation;
