An exciting opportunity to work for an institution that prides itself on collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Solano County. The Vacaville Museum Artifacts & Exhibit Manager is tasked with managing the Museum's collections and exhibits related to the history of Solano County. This includes but is not limited to: organizing high quality exhibits that examine a variety of topics; working with other institutions and organizations to plan and execute exhibits; engaging in the collection, organization, and preservation of artifacts both within the Museum collection and those borrowed or loaned with other individuals/institutions; developing inclusive, historically accurate research-based projects; working collaboratively with a team that handles rapidly changing priorities and works to problem-solve creatively. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is a must, with self-discipline to meet deadlines and manage time while keeping the team well informed. This is a full time, on-site position that reports to the Executive Director. Benefits not available at this time. Expected pay is $24-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience.
