The Executive Director (E.D) is responsible to the NUMU Board of Directors for all aspects of the operation, maintenance and security of the Museum, its facilities and its collections. The E.D. serves as the Chief Executive Officer of LGMA and reports to the Board President.

The E.D. leads the organization in pursuit of fulfilling its mission and vision throughout all of its operations. The E.D. is the key strategic and operational leader and broadly responsible for overseeing the organization’s administration, programs, fundraising, strategic plan and financial management. The E.D. is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementing and supervising all operations including but not limited to fundraising, office and operations and staffing. The E.D. represents the museum to the community at large and within the museum and related cultural and educational communities. Only Bay Area applicants are being sought.
