Marin Museum of Contemporary Art
The Executive Director (ED) provides the vision and overall management of the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art. The ED supervises the galleries, museum store, educational programs, exhibits and events, membership programs and the artist membership organization. There are four part-time staff members. The ED interacts with community leaders, cultural organizations and foundations to create beneficial partnerships. With the Marketing Manager, the ED increases audience awareness and engagement with the museum, creates the membership strategy, and maximizes media exposure. The ED implements the curatorial policy of the organization and produces educational programs for students of all ages. The ED develops the annual development and fundraising plan. Candidate must have lived in the SF Bay Area for a minimum of 3 years. A minimum of 6 years of management within visual arts orgs. Masters in an art-related field. Salary $80K to $90K.
