Reporting to the Executive Director, the Collections Manager is responsible for all aspects of the preservation and care of the La Jolla Historical Society’s archival collection, which encompasses over 80 years of archival material, books, architectural drawings, oral histories, ephemera, newspapers, and objects. They are responsible for ensuring the collection is widely accessible to the public through in-person and digital research support, and ongoing cataloguing and digitization efforts. The Manager will lead public programs that invite new interpretations and perspectives on regional history, contribute to publications, support research related to exhibition development, and supervise a college internship program. They will serve as a key representative of La Jolla Historical Society in both onsite and external settings.

Compensation: $56,000 - $60,000 annually DOE, with benefits
