One of the nation’s leading university museums, the University of California's Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) is a forum for cultural experiences that transform individuals and advance the local, national, and global discourse on art and film. The BAMPFA Security Department ensures security of collection of Art and Film valued at more than $80 million, in addition to the museum’s art exhibits. Under general supervision of the Security supervisor, maintains surveillance and enforce museum security regulations; monitor and interpret security alarm and environmental systems; monitor cameras, visitors, and facility space; control deliveries to the building, monitor staff access to the building and secure spaces; assist the public, and when serving as special event coordinator, oversee security staff for special events.

Salary: $24.19/hour
