Docent Training Specialist

The Huntington seeks a Docent Training Specialist.  Under the supervision of the Associate Director of School Partnerships and Programs, in close collaboration with members of the Education staff and volunteers, this position is an opportunity to work with our team of 200 school program docents to ensure they access the most helpful and relevant content for delivery of school programs, as well as to train docents, through coaching and other methods, in Huntington-driven and Huntington inspired pedagogy to lead K-12 students through our vast collections.  Assist with the creation and implementation of school programs, interpretive projects, and coordinating content delivery. Primary responsibilities include working in close collaboration with curators, docents, and school program staff to create standards-based, relevant and engaging school programs for K-12 student audiences.  Please visit for more information.
