The Director will be responsible for the conceptualization, curation, and development of the Stuart Collection; cultivation of contemporary artists and projects that are socially conscious and relevant; maintenance and conservation of the existing collection; and execution of successful fundraising programs. Reporting to the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Director will hold a highly visible leadership position in public art on campus, nationally, and internationally. They will develop and direct public relations, educational outreach, and public service programming. The Director will also be responsible for upholding the collection’s reputation and artistic integrity and continuing its expansion.
