Director of Volunteer Engagement

Position Summary:

The Director of Volunteer Engagement works to foster, grow, and develop the Art Center’s volunteer and internship program. This critical position oversees the recruitment, screening, supervision, onboarding, appreciation, and evaluation of volunteers and interns that support all areas of Art Center operations, including: Class Programs for Children and Adults, Exhibitions, Teen Programs, and Visitor Services. The Director of Volunteer Engagement also collaborates closely with other program directors at the Art Center on Center-wide initiatives, including a team approach to exhibitions and program development. This position works to set goals for the volunteer program, contributes to the Art Center annual work plan, and collaborates with volunteers and staff to ensure goals are met. The position also works to advocate for volunteers and represent their requests, concerns, and input.

Note: This is a 0.75 FTE position, 30 hours per week, benefitted position

$40.17 - $49.32 Hourly
