Provides general fundraising support to development department. Assists with fundraising, annual fund, sponsorship initiatives and events, and membership campaigns. Conducts research and drafts collateral materials. Corresponds with donors and members and maintains Altru database, and provides statistical reports. Bachelors and minimum 2yrs customer service experience and basic knowledge of development functions. Nonprofit, museum or academic institution experience preferred. Able to work in a team, multitask and prioritize with limited supervision. Exercise good judgement in working with internal and external constituencies. Knowledge of JA history and culture, familiarity with Japanese surnames a plus. Requires some evening and weekend hours to support National Museum functions. Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Gmail and Altru preferred.
