The Deputy Director, Curatorial Affairs & Programs is a key leadership position responsible for the overall strategic vision, management, integration and integrity of NCM’s Exhibitions, Education and Programs. This position will also be a lead in the DEAI work throughout the Museum which will include participation in the DEAI Board committee. The Deputy Director, Curatorial Affairs & Programs is responsible for ensuring that the creative direction initiated by the Executive Director and Board is implemented in all aspects of programming. It is the fundamental responsibility of the Deputy Director, Curatorial Affairs & Programs to prioritize programming projects against institutional cash flow and manage the day to day operations of the department and all projects, programs and budgets. The Deputy Director, Curatorial Affairs & Programs has direct responsibility and oversight for the generation of Education and Programs revenue.

The Deputy Director, Curatorial Affairs & Programs oversees, supports and mentors a team of highly skilled Curators, Educators, Managers, Preparators, Artists, and others who are responsible for generating and executing the NCM experience.
