The Curatorial & Education Manager, Visions Museum of Textile Art (VMOTA), will be responsible for managing museum exhibits, overseeing education activities, and acquisition of new collections in alignment with VMOTA’s mission. He/she will have a combination of skills that includes big-picture strategy, organizing quarterly exhibitions, and hosting educational programs. The candidate must have the ability to engage and connect with artists, volunteers, partners, and funders. The successful candidate will help acquire and arrange exciting and innovative textile art exhibits to inform, educate, and inspire the public and the arts community, and stay abreast of innovative trends among recognized and emerging textile artists locally and internationally.
