The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens seeks an Assistant to the President for Special Projects (APSP). The APSP will report directly to the President and provide support in the execution of high level administrative responsibilities. This position will have primary responsibility for special projects originating in the President’s office or via other senior staff or outside institutions, including, but not limited to programmatic collaborations, joint ventures, and public programs and events that transcend individual senior staff office routine responsibilities and scope. The person must possess both the financial acumen and writing fluency to develop proposals with accompanying business plans. The APSP must be able to work well with the Chief Financial Officer in assessing the impact of new ventures/programs on institutional resources.
