Private art collection located in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a skilled, discreet and professional full-time Collections Manager. The Collections Manager is responsible for managing a large, varied, and very active collection. They will perform a wide range of duties related to the acquisition, movement, storage and documentation of the collection. They will report directly to the Collector and work in collaboration with the collection Curator, Collector’s staff, Foundation staff, Librarian, Archivist, Accountants, and Property Managers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Art, Art History or a closely related field
Master’s Degree in Museum Studies or equivalent specialized experience
3-5 years’ experience as Collections Manager or similar position in a private collection, museum, gallery, or arts organization
Excellent pay with benefits; Full-time
