Job opportunity:

The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks an experienced candidate for Associate Registrar to secure images and reproduction rights for exhibition-related promotional and educational materials. Reporting to the Senior Registrar for Rights and Reproductions, the successful candidate will have 3-5 years licensing or registration experience and experience in negotiating rights for image reproduction. Additionally, they will have knowledge of different types of digital and photographic materials and imaging software, as well as experience with a collections management system and/or digital asset management systems.  A solid understanding of license agreements and copyright law plus strong administrative skills to handle paperwork and meet deadlines are a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with editorial and proofing experience preferred. Must be detailed-oriented, flexible, and able to work on several complex projects at once.

Hiring Pay Scale $58,371 - $72,954 Annually
