Associate Interpretive Content Specialist

The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks an Associate Interpretive Content Specialist to support our ambitious display and exhibition program. You will serve as a key editorial authority over public-facing didactic and interpretive texts.
With the project team, you will review the hierarchy, structure, and content of interpretive materials in relation to the exhibition/installation interpretive goals, audience needs, and Getty accepted guidelines. You will bring to bear our collective passion, knowledge, and research to develop inventive content that engages diverse audiences both in-gallery and off-site. You will recommend or execute changes to wording, sequencing, and design, identify strategies and tools to advance interpretive goals, and edit didactic and interpretive texts on a variety of topics.
The successful candidate will have exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills and the ability to effectively advocate for inclusivity and the needs of diverse audiences.
