Accessioning Archivist

Working as part of the Acquisitions, Cataloging, and Metadata Services (ACMe) department at the Huntington Library, the Accessioning Archivist is a member of the library’s archival accessioning team and establishes baseline administrative, physical, and intellectual control over new and past acquisitions, which include a variety of formats and media, including audiovisual and born-digital materials. Also, responsible for applying efficient accessioning procedures in support of an extensible, access-driven processing program. In addition, liaises regularly with curators and the Acquisitions Librarian on pre-custodial interventions and the transfer and ingest of materials.

Pay Range: $65k- $70k annually. Negotiable and commensurate on experience.
