An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and AAM accredited, the National Museum (www.janm.org) is recognized as one of the nation’s premier cultural museums. Located adjacent to the Metro Gold Line in the historic Little Tokyo district in Los Angeles. Responsible for supporting the overall management, coordination, and implementation of the Museum’s exhibition program in collaboration with VP of Exhibitions. Bachelors in Museum Studies, Asian American Studies, Ethnic Studies or American History. Minimum three years professional experience working in a non-profit on project management. Previous work on exhibitions in a museum highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast paced team-environment and work well under pressure while meeting deadlines. Must be able to provide courteous and effective service to co-workers, volunteers and the general public. Experience with MS Office, familiarity with TMS database, Google Calendar/Gmail preferred.
