PSAM is seeking an experienced exhibitions registrar or coordinator to manage the logistics of borrowed and travelling exhibitions. Works closely with the director of the department on all activities related to the planning, managing and execution of exhibitions. Serves as the project manager and registrar for a portfolio of exhibitions and installations, rotations and other special projects in concurrent stages of development. Works closely with internal departments; such as, executive, curatorial, development, education, security, and facilities. Ensures that the highest standards in the safe, professional handling of artworks are followed.
Qualifications include a B.A. in art history or museum studies; 2 – 3 years’ experience in museum registration and exhibition coordination; knowledge of exhibition development and management or project management methodologies. Excellent communication, organization, time management and project management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, or independently, with high attention to detail, accuracy and minimal guidance.
