2020 Virtual Museums Advocacy Day

Join the California Association of Museums for a virtual Museums Advocacy Day on May 12th and raise your voice in support of California museums. The program will include updates on California’s budget and modifications to the stay-at-home order, government funding opportunities in response to the pandemic, state and federal advocacy efforts, and details about California Museums Week (May 16-23). Please register below and answer the required questions to make the most of your advocacy efforts!

Meet with your advocacy group* to make a plan and discuss key stories you want to share with your legislator.

2:30PM-5:00PM** Virtual Meetings with Key Legislators
*Due to the virtual nature of this Advocacy Day, CAM and Fearless Advocacy have pre-arranged appointments with a small number of available key legislators across California. Each registrant will be assigned to an advocacy group to meet with one of these key legislators based on their location's proximity to the legislator's district. Each group will be assigned a captain and a notetaker.
**Exact time of each meeting TBA. Meetings generally last less than 30 minutes.
