Members of both the California State Assembly and Senate have headed back to their home districts, as the session ended on August 31. The Legislature will reconvene on December 5, 2016. AB 55 (Nazarian D) Arts Council: grants. CAM provided support for this bill in the form of public comment. This bill was held under submission in the Assembly Appropriations Committee. However, the California Arts Council received a $7.1 million permanent increase in general fund support.

AB 96 (Atkins D) Animal parts and products: importation or sale of ivory and rhinoceros horn. CHAPTERED
