Program Coordinator, Connections (Bilingual)

The Program Coordinator, Connections (Bilingual) serves as a lead facilitator for the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s education programs, integrating current research and best practices with the Museum’s educational philosophy. The person in this position must be able and willing to facilitate a variety of programs, including family classes, camps, school group visits, drop-in programs, festivals, offsite programming, and staffing the Museum’s exhibitions. The Program Coordinator models best facilitation practices and trains and coaches Education Facilitators and Assistants on those best practices. The Program Coordinator, Connections has a primary focus on program facilitation and administrative support for the Connections program – BADM’s comprehensive outreach and partnership program that aims to create sustainable relationships between the museum and the diverse communities of the Bay Area. This position spends about 75% of total time facilitating educational programs and 25% on related administrative duties.
