The Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) is one of the Bay Area's leading cultural institutions and the only museum devoted to the art, history and natural sciences of the state. OMCA serves as an open forum for public dialogue and interaction, supports local communities, and creates moving personal experiences.
The Curator of History researches and develops exhibitions and core gallery installations that meet the Museum’s community engagement, social impact and business goals. The position will engage the diversity of Oakland residents and oversee the research and development of the history collections.
