CAM 2021 Virtual Summits

CAM's 2021 Virtual Summits will be five half-day seminars held on Thursday afternoons in the Spring, March 25–April 22. The summits will address the following themes:

  • Exploring Social Impact (March 25, 2021)
  • Storytelling through Technology (April 1, 2021)
  • Collections and Community Now (April 8, 2021)
  • Advancing Equity and Inclusion (April 15, 2021)
  • New Models for Fundraising and Sustainability (April 22, 2021)

 

Virtual Summits Program Schedules
Review the schedules for each Virtual Summit program. Program schedules are subject to change. A link to the final schedule will be emailed to all registered participants 24 hours prior to each summit.

 Registration
The CAM member registration fee is $25 for each summit, and the non-member registration fee is $30 for each summit. Learn more about CAM membership – starting at just $15!

The last day to register for each program will be the Tuesday before the program.

Virtual Conference Platform
CAM will be utilizing the virtual conference platform, Hopin, to host each of the 5 Summits. You will receive an email with connection instructions prior to each program for which you are registered. In the meantime, feel free to begin familiarizing yourselves with the platform by browsing the resources below.

Virtual Summits Itinerary

Description
Many California museums are experiencing unprecedented loss of revenue and dire financial realities caused by the COVID-19 crisis. What new practices are museums adopting to weather this storm, now and into the future?
